When thinking about Cuba it is not possible not to think about the exotic flair that surrounds the capital city Havana. The houses are mostly old and the facades need to restored, but for tourists it has a certain appeal to see how the country looked 50 years ago, as it did not change that much over the last decade. Fidel Castro was a strict leader and believed in communism. For a long time the country was very closed and did not have a lot of international relations. But since the contact with the United States got better, the country is rumored to open up and adapt a more capitalist approach.
Take a look at our gallery and see, that Havana is not only about rum and cigars, although a Cuban cigar is maybe really a nice souvenir.
