Now we’re looking to take our company to the next level with the help of a data-driven E-commerce Marketing Manager.
Can You Bring Us to the Next Level?
You will be responsible for defining a performance marketing strategy for Colourbox, including both short-term goals and a broader long-term vision of becoming the market leader within defined segments and markets.
You will be deeply involved with management to identify KPIs and will be responsible for establishing a framework for ongoing tracking and optimisation.
You will take part in business development based on the inputs and metrics your activities generate. You will work closely with our CCO, product manager, and UX designers.
About the Job
This is a full-time position working in our office in Odense or Berlin. You’ll earn a competitive salary as part of the management team. You’ll enjoy perks such as flexible working hours, a pleasant office environment, a pension plan, excellent lunch, and a supportive work climate with ambitious and energetic international colleagues. And most importantly, you will become part of an expanding, successful international business.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for…
Creating marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers
Managing, implementing, and tracking the success of our marketing campaigns
Briefing and overseeing the work of our internal communication and sales department
Working within a predefined budget
Editing & proofreading copy for promotional materials
Ensuring that our marketing campaigns and communication channels all adhere to the organisation’s brand identity
Delivering regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis, KPI evaluation, and ROI reporting for each campaign
Ensuring the accuracy of marketing materials and providing formal sign-off, if necessary
Evaluating our existing campaigns, and collecting & using data to create new campaigns
Taking responsibility for sales campaigns and generating new sales concepts
Keeping abreast of current trends in marketing
Your focus is on growth. You have a proven track record (preferably with a successful, international e-commerce business). You are comfortable with all growth hacking methods—from channels like SEO/SEM, to email/lead generation, to viral marketing, content marketing, and PR/blogger outreach.
Your strategic business sense is nothing but great. You favour activities and partners that yield sustainable gains, not just one-time growth bumps.
You should also…
Have a relevant marketing education (B.A. level at minimum).
Be happy to get hands-on to make every campaign perfect (because you know that the devil is in the details). For example, you’re comfortable digging into “inspect element” an email layout.
Strive to improve your work and expand your industry and marketing knowledge.
Be a fan of metrics, and experienced at setting, tracking, and continuously improving KPIs. You’re data-driven with an analytical mind.
Be mad about A/B testing and optimisation.
Be a user-centric lover. You should strive to understand our users and be eager to learn more about them by phone, email, polls, & face-to-face
Be addicted to pivot. We like to keep things lean and test before we build. Landing page and A/B-testing tools are a natural part of your toolbox, so you can quickly execute many of your ideas before our creative and tech teams get too involved.
Have a creative mind to come up with new ideas to strengthen our call-to-action.
Be insane about scalability. Even the smallest idea you come up with can go global.
Be fluent in English and know how to write a text that converts to clicks and dollars.
Be a team player with proven project management skills who can also work on your own.
