Landmarks & Architecture

If you want to shoot on private property, remember to always ask permission. For all royalty-free material you will therefore have to have a property release for your material. You also need consent to take photos if your photos are to be used as editorial material. If you wish to take photos in places that charge admission, these photos can then not be used as royalty-free material. But with the right permission and consent they can be used as editorial material. If you have any doubts when entering a facility always do your research beforehand.

Shooting landmarks and architecture from the outside as part of the scenery can often be used as both royalty-free and editorial material. This is of course if there is no copyrighted work involved.
