Vector Files Should:

  • Always be uploaded as EPS files – not JPGs. When uploading an EPS file our system will also create a JPG file and the customer is then able to download whichever they prefer – EPS and/or JPG
  • Not be uploaded as PNG files. Our system does not support PNG files
  • Never be pixelated
  • Never be messy
  • Always be uploaded in the best possible quality and largest size possible too. Most small images will not provide our customers with a nice preview on our site. This will then lower your sales rate too.
  • Always be uploaded with the correct titles, descriptions & keywords in the appropriate language. Uploading to .com = English text, to .dk = Danish text and to .de = German text. Our system will then translate your text into the other languages.
  • Never be accompanied or separated by semicolons ( ; ). This will hurt the keywords and your download rate.
  • Always stick to Colourbox nudity rules (SEE our category “Nudity” in the Wiki)
  • Never offend any nationality, ethnicity, religion, political views etc.
  • Never portray copyrighted material without adding the proper “editorial” tags (SEE ALSO our category: “Not Allowed on Colourbox” in the Wiki)
  • Not repeat other images (E.g. If the vector file is already in one of your other images in a set. If other vector files contain the same/similar element, Colourbox reserves the right to delete the image as we strive to avoid repetition on our site – and when it comes to vectors the customer can easily edit or cut out different elements from the file
